Construction will begin in October on a new Aintree Farms clubhouse to replace the converted stables that burned two years ago.
The new building will appear much like the old to harmonize with the community and will consists of 7,100 square feet under roof. Features of the clubhouse complex will include:
- A weight and exercise room, steam and sauna rooms, men’s & Women’s locker rooms and meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 275 people.
- A bar and complete kitchen will be available for wedding parties and other social functions.
- Space for meetings of six to 275 people.
- A swimming pool open from May through Labor Day. (Rules are available at the association office.)
- Two hard surface tennis courts.
The clubhouse complex is home to multiple community activities including:
Kentucky Derby Party
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Family Hoedown party
- Halloween events
- Breakfast with Santa Claus
